Spring Break Mission Trip
Spring Break Mission Trip is a great opportunity for UGA students to have our eyes opened to the needs, struggles, and growth of Christ's church in our own neighborhoods and around the world. Over the past twenty-five years, UGA RUF has established long-term relationships and made lasting investments in churches in Belize, Greece, and Puerto Rico. More recently, we’re focused on deepening our long-term relationship with our Hunger Corps partners doing amazing work in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Spring break 2025 will be our 6th year serving in the same neighborhood in Puerto Rico.
Our goal for mission opportunities in RUF to be semester-long, formative experiences that continue to shape students for months and years to come (not just an isolated one-week missions “experience”). So, the team of 40 students we take on these trips invest a lot of time and energy before the trip cultivating a healthy team dynamic, studying responsible approaches to global missions, brushing up on their Spanish, and learning about local missions opportunities to serve long after the mission trip is over.
